The Motor Condos at Independence will have a gated entry with camera recording the open spaces around the campus. We want to make sure that we do our part to keep your space and vehicles safe. We expect most owners will install private security systems in their private garage space.
Do You Rent vs Own Your Garage Condo Spaces?
Motor Condos at Independence are built as an ownership solution. Similar to a condominium, when you purchase your space, you receive a title and warranty deed legally demonstrating your ownership of the property. You are free to list it at any time for sale by owner, through a real estate agent, transfer it to a family member, or sell it through our network.
Can You Live In The Garage Condo?
Due to zoning and city requirements, you cannot homestead the property. Motor Condos at Independence is the ideal solution for people looking for more space while being able to customize it to their wildest imagination.
How Is The Property Managed Day To Day?
Motor Condos at Independence will be managed by an owner board of directors under their HOA rules. They will either choose to use a third-party professional property management company or self-manage the association, which will oversee everything outside your four walls. This includes property maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, trash removal, and more.
How Are Garage Condos Taxed?
